I love the line work a lot...It's probably just a personal preference of mine, but I think it would've looked even more awesome without the Photoshop shading. I'm just curious and would love to see just the ball point pen version if you feel like uploading it! I love drawing with ball-point pens! Good job though!

This is pretty neat. I like how it is stylized-showing the strokes especially in the forehead. It gives the painting texture. I was also going to say that since you entered this for the cotmman contest you should add under your comments section why you chose to draw Thorin. I believe Jazza wants to know how he inspires you.
